UBH EMBARKS ON CLEAN-UP CAMPAIGN

[easingslider id=”994″]UBH embraced the National Clean-up campaign which was declared by His Excellency President Mnangagwa after the cholera pandemic outbreak which claimed over 30 lives nationwide. President Mnangagwa declared every first Friday of the month to be a National Clean-up day where all stakeholders are supposed to clean their places of work

On the clean-up held on 1 March 2019 staff members from different hospital departments gathered at the car park behind the main kitchen. The staff members went around Richard Morris, school of nursing and all car parks cleaning. The clean-up started at 0800hours and ended at 1000hours.

After the institution held a clean-up exercise the Director of Operations, Mr Sithole who was actively participating in the clean-up campaign said all UBH departments must always participate in the future clean-up campaigns as a way to spruce up the image of UBH.

Mr Sithole who is also the chairperson of the Waste Management Committee, said UBH is fully committed to support all national efforts to keep our premises clean. “In the future campaigns we are going to also engage other stakeholders to assist us as an institution in these cleaning programs,” said Mr Sithole.
