UNITED BULAWAYO HOSPITALS HOLDS CLUBFOOT DAY CELEBRATION ON 12TH JUNE 2025

United Bulawayo Hospitals successfully held clubfoot Day celebrations on the 12th June 2025 under the theme “Pirani, score to Win”. In attendance were our special guests, the mothers and their children who are our clients, the care givers. Staff members in attendance were rehabilitation staff, clinic guide, nurses and doctors.The objective of the celebrations was to honor the work of Dr Ignacio Ponseti who developed the Ponseti method of clubfoot treatment.United Bulawayo Hospitals is proudly one of the first pioneers who use the Ponseti Method of clubfoot treatment in the nation of Zimbabwe. It has specially trained staff in clubfoot treatment, consisting of physiotherapists, nurses and doctors.
